About us:

Welcome to Hearth & Holler, a small cottage bakery born from a love of creating connections that only a homemade treat can bring. I’m Taylor, the baker behind the counter (and the mixing bowl), and I started Hearth & Holler with one goal in mind, to create baked goods that would bring excitement to this small town.

Growing up in Monroe County, some of my fondest memories are when I was watching my grandmothers (Emma Jean and Janice) in the kitchen. The smell of something delicious in the oven, laughter echoing throughout the house from the grandkids, and a sense of warmth that lingered long after that last bite. That feeling is the heartbeat of Hearth & Holler.

Every cookie, cake, and pastry that comes out of my kitchen is made with care, quality ingredients, and a touch of creativity. From my signature s’mores cookie, to seasonal treats, I want each bite to bring comfort, nostalgia, and a little spark of joy.

“Hearth” stands for the base of a fireplace, the place where stories are told and memories are made. In Old English, it means ‘settled home’. “Holler” represents the hills and hollers of my roots, a nod to the land, community, and history that inspires everything I bake. Together, they tell the story of where I come from and what I hope to share.

So, whether you’re stopping by for your favorite cookie or ordering for a celebration, thank you for letting me be part of your story. From my hearth to yours.
